The walking into places and asking a member of staff of the same age to show you how a piece of tech works is a brilliant idea @Brie 😊👏 Love it.
Crazy busy but productive day, largely spent talking to an IT chap to help me access a standard document that was so locked down, he was rolling his eyes more than I was! 😂😉I have volunteer broad bean plants coming up through my leeks … Apparently they are incompatible so I will relocate the BBs, but as the broad beans think this is the time to germinate 🤷♀️ I have sown another 16 seeds in pots this evening to get a start on next year 😊

One of the reasons I feel quite so behind the times is that one of my not that much younger friends, also has Spotify and shares her account with her son and they have a play off every month on there - I literally have no idea what she’s on about! 😂😂

I went back to the gym last night!! 🎊🎉😊🎈 Really rather proud of self as I honestly felt a bit sick with anxiety before I went there …
Seemed to go okay, at about the level that I stopped at, though I ducked doing Plank as my shoulders are not that happy atm and I didn't want to make them any worse.
In the spirit of @edinburgher's trackings, that gym visit cost me £35. If I manage to go on Sunday again as I intend to, it will go down to £17.50 per visit this month! 😉Monthly £50 transferred to EFT (now at £300) - not doing that well, only 4.72% on top yesterday). I think I will build up the balance to £500 and in January / February next year look for a better performing alternative …
Doing some surveys again, though the one provider keeps telling me I am going through them too fast …. 🙄 That's just how fast I function 🤷♀️
Plumber came over last night to look at the boiler as it has been having 'opinions' over the last week or so. Mr KK tried to run the CH on Saturday, to see if it worked, and the system was so empty I think running it drained the boiler. The boiler started working again on it's on, yesterday which rather supported my theory. Plumber also thinks that as root cause is logical. He changed the batteries in the thermostat / controller, which is fiddlier than it should be, will change the sensor that was 'acting up', just in case (only £30) and service the boiler AND the CH on 25th September. I insisted on being booked in, as plumber and Mr KK are work mates and we seem to 'get slotted in as and when he has time' which is typically November(!) and waaaaay too late to get the CH system working properly again I think. 😉 (Again I seem to be getting a reputation for being bossy, but frankly I don't care - it will be Mr KK whinging if we can't get the CH working and he's cold come mid October!)
No knitting last night as Chloe insisted on lots of lap-time (I couldn't read either, so made Mr KK switch from Nazi home movies (really??! 😮) to Alice Roberts wandering around ancient Roman ruins in Spain - much nicer! 😉) and no fascia release session as just ran out of time thanks to gym + plumber.

Well done on getting back to the gym - it is incredible how anxiety makes us build these things up in our head!
How did you pick your ETF in the first place?
Ps. Before anyone else steals the obvious joke, I'm sorry that you missed fascia release, but at least you got release from the fascists 🤣3 -
Thanks @edinburgher, and yes, we make our own barriers a lot of the time … 😉
I chose the provider (V@nguard) by reading reviews and then went for 'FTSE All World' as I wanted limited exposure across all markets and the US especially, as the idea of funding our 'Orange Colleague' in any way makes my skin crawl ...
Very good joke - I missed that completely! 🤣 Well done 😊

How do you ‘see’ or find that information? (I really struggle with this sort of stuff.)
