Out of curiosity, which subset of users, i.e. to what extent is it dependent on device, operating system, browser, ISP, or whatever?

We don't have that information at present as Vanilla are still investigating. If any of the users who've reported issues this afternoon / evening can tell us which device / OS / browser they're using, that might help shed some light.

Anyone else having problems today ? Very slow, loads half a page and waits for the rest. When typing replies I am going faster than the screen responds.
edit. Maybe something to do with the big internet problem at the moment, even DownDetector has gone down !
On a positive note, Faceache is also down.

Anyone else having slowness problems in Firefox ?
Other sites, and forums, seem to be running fine but MSE is very slow and jumpy. MSE is fine in Edge so I am wondering if there is some sort of compatibility issue somewhere.
