  • I've had a similar experience. I bought a Speedo swimming costume last month and when it arrived it was clearly inferior and not of the fabric stated on their website. Despite showing them the images on their website and the differences on the one I was sent, they point blank refused to refund me stating that swimming costumes are excluded (and I didn't remove any of the labels/hygiene stickers-in fact, I didn't even try it on).

    I quoted the Consumer Rights legislation to them and also pointed out that I considered this an unfair clause in the contract.

    I have given up trying-life is too short and fortunately it wasn't hugely expensive. But I certainly won't buy anything else from them.
