@London_1 well done on the charity knitting!!
When I was working a few years back there was always charity things there. Once there was a raffle and I won a throw that a colleague/friend of mine had crocheted. My first thought was "drat! I don't want that!!" and my second "DRAT!! How do I get rid without annoying my friend?" Well I smiled and took it home and showed him indoors and he expressed his less-than-impressedness. And then winter came and I realised how cozy it was and so for the last 5 or 6 years I msg my friend and now ex-colleague that her "blankie" is in use. I'm considering asking her if she could also make me ankle and wrist warmers.

Today we decluttered our old boiler in exchange for. a new one.
I have been busy making up food hampers and Cards for our community club Christmas Fair. Our dining room has disappeared under, baskets, ribbon, bows and card. Spent 4 hours this afternoon rooting through boxes and bags of stuff. Have cleared 4 bags full and now only have one with all of the essential card making stuff in. ( I have to confess that there is still a load in the summer house though.)
We also took 2 dining chairs to the tip this week after the backs came apart. They were second hand when we got them and have been in use here for 13 years so I don't think they have done bad and we still have plenty more.

The Tufty club! Our local bobby used to come to our school every year with a roll up zebra crossing, little belisha beacons and little pedal cars. We all used to pedal about the playground and stop to let people cross at the crossing. We were given Tufty books, and a badge which I still have somewhere.
Have a lovely holiday Pennypincin and Happy belated Birthday.
Happy Kitties, just to say I squashed two parcels into one giant one so don't worry, one isn't awol.
All good at the dentist ,ouch at the cost though.Visited all 3 step children into the bargain.
Bird boxes painted, paint actually put away! Bird boxes can go in a kitchen cupboard till I think of where to put them up. I have got a bigger kitchen at this house so have empty cupboards.
I bought a nwt Roman top at the chazzer, not tried it on yet. I bought a top in the Summer that I wore for the first time today. I think it's more suited to someone taller or longer bodied than me. So yep, that will be going soon. Shame coz I like it and it wan't cheap.
No decluttering or frogs for me tomorrow. I am going out with my friend.

@vulpix sounds a busy day, have a good day wirh your friend tomorrow.
So many people are getting so much done, nothing out today but that's ok, wrapped 2 boxes to go tomorrow and some downtime is always needed. Conscious though how if I get 40/50 % through my to do list its pretty good 😀

Wednesday is another bright day with a high of 19°C, low of 9°C & a brisk SW wind making it feel 3° cooler. DH had a call from my DB - confirmed receipt of the documents I sent him followed by about 30 minutes catching up with family news. After yesterday’s exertions DH was feeling a little stiff so had a lazy day. Dinner was cheesy pasta with the cheese sauce from the kitchen freezer - more wiggle room 😊 Wudupa
1770 - 1772 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans, takeaway container & lid - recycled

vulpix, at least the ‘clutter’ you are sending to Happy Kitties won’t be with her for long 😉 Well done on decluttering the plants 👏 Good luck renovating the bird boxes 🍀 I am rather intrigued by your description of the book you are reading, could you let me know the title & author? Well done on the weight loss ☺️ & very kind of you to let someone else be slimmer of the week 😉 Lovely cheerleading ☺️Lovely to see you QueenJess 👋 It really is difficult catching the EDT - despite many instances of our lady drivers being asked to slow down a little they both feel the need for speed 🙊 Very pleased to hear that you are starting to recover from the full on cleaning, washing & taking care of your family ☺️ You must be absolutely exhausted 😩 so I do hope you will slow down at least a little 🙏 I love your plan for thinning out the number of cookery books you own ☺️ Absolutely brilliant decluttering 👏 so time for some more awards: a medal 🏅 for DD, a Gold Star ⭐️ for DS (for decluttering so much Lego) & a Gold Star ⭐️ for you for being the one to get everything out of the house 👏 Thanks for the Dorset apple cake it was delicious with a cup of tea 😋
Floss, wow that was some team building course 🤩
daisy_1571, I have great hopes for next weeks weigh in as long as you don’t sabotage yourself 😉
Excellent decluttering GrannyKate especially writing up the cards 👏
An excellent weight loss Yorkie1 👏 I am not surprised you don’t want to cook 3 times a day 😊
EnergyShifter, not a gain but a minus-loss 😉 Love the wombling of wood 😊
Excellent decluttering surprisinglynice 👏 that is a lot of socks 😉
Brambling, your description of white squirrels sounds a bit creepy 😨 Five sisters 😧 I can only just cope with one 😂 Good luck decluttering the books 🍀 So pleased to hear that your elderly friend is more settled 🥹 Good luck with the sale of her flat 🍀 & everything crossed that the local council agree to your friend staying where she is 🤞 especially as her 6 week stay has turned into about 8 months & counting 🤨
Lovely cheerleading vulpix ☺️
Excellent decluttering TC77 especially the books 👏
Floss, sadly I was not 😔
So much for posting earlier in the day 😉 Sleep tight 😴

Mrs SD, I never answered your question from a little while back about my knee replacement. I have deferred it. I have only lost almost a stone but it has made a massive difference. The damage is still there and I am knock kneed but it is so much less painful. Fingers crossed that my back pain will ease up too with more weight off.
The book is The Long Goodbye by Raymond Chandler. Fiction but difficult to believe it was written such a long time ago.I think about 80 years not 100 as I said.I am enjoying it. DS brings me all sorts of books that I wouldn't choose myself. I am also listening to another recommendation of his. London Falling by Patrick Radden Keefe. A very deep dive into a true story of a death of a young man in London. It is long and heavy going and I don't know if I could persevere and read the book. The audio book is narrated by the author. I am 75% done. I would say it's worth a listen.

Morning all.
I had a pain free day and night.
Only decluttered a plate, a reel of ribbon, bell, pipe cleaner and stuffing.
I spoke with my son last night - he has a doctor's review phone call this morning. Arrangements are being made for counselling initiated by the police. The inquest is open court so he hopes it won't be reported in local papers. No date set for that yet.
Here there has been another suicide on the train tracks last night. There never used to be so many.
I plan to work on ufos.
