I've been trying to put like with like which I find v time consuming but is freeing up small areas, v small.areas as doing with stationery!
3 cables , big and small
Pencil, keyring, damaged crockery, empty cartridge
Took bag to CS and added trousers I had been planning to sell but wanted more in the bag. CS too my bag although still had notice saying no donations but they know me well - my usual place as they take electrical , Red Cross.
Mrs SD BHF taken off their no donations sign and St Christopher and Cancer research seem to be taking donations. I'm a little wary of donating to bhf and another where DDs volunteered if there may be things of theirs.
Remembered dd2 also too a picture and frames with her.
Listing a few things that thr CS may find hard to sell and then try and be strict ans dispose in a couple of weeks.
Will do nos later. Doing small frogs each day but the list grows :)

Yorkie1 - the door is still open - I have a porch. We have had sunshine here today so been warm.
I finished making 6 cushions for on my bed.
Young J put this sign on the wall in my craft room. Flipping wrong way round on here - not on my wall.
The bit I don't like is pricing stuff I have made. I was thinking £2 a pair - then I thought £3 a pair or 2 for £5. I looked on Ets. - high prices for crochet mitts.
Another pair done.

I thought I did stuff yesterday but today, Phew!
CS collection happened just after 0900, that was nice of him to come so early, meant I could get on with other things.
One load of whites in W/machine and set going, About 20 mins in, I realised I had forgotten to add washing liquid! Well, they had a nice swim anyway. When machine finished, I put it on again with the right stuff in! DFriend brought another load round as she’s still waiting for them to fix hers. Got my wash out on the line and it’s still there as I’m too tired to bring it in. The fresh air will not harm it.
sorted all the totes and contents and condensed it all. Even adding the things I am listing tonight I didn’t need another one. Cleared all the new things for the new kitchen off the sofa into another tote and stacked. Wish they would give us a date, I’m itching for it to be done.
Moved some furniture around in the sitting room. I needed a higher unit for my printer as that’s next to me, so I swapped it with a 3 drawer unit that was at the end of the sofa. Much better height means I can operate the scanner with ease. I forgot that 2 of the drawers were full of candles and boy, do they weight heavy!
Wrapped more eBay and Vinted sales. They were all quite awkward to wrap properly so took me a while for that job to be done. Photographed another load of DHs declutter, then he found me another 6 things! I am glad he’s getting rid, honestly I am!!
Dinner for both was freezer.
Sent more emails asking for donations to an island charity that I’m trying to help. I’ve got a few bits but I would like to add a few more.
Thats me for today. Hope you’ve all had an enjoyable one.Have a good night, sweet dreams xx

Oh my goodness! I disappear off for a few days and there are pages of posts, this EDT goes so fast. 😁
Firstly, hugs, thoughts and congratulations as appropriate to all; there's been so much happening with everyone.
I had a lovely 3 days with my DD here. Saturday, once she arrived, was spent chatting, crafting and watching some stuff on I-player, (she doesn't have a TV licence hence the watching here). Sunday was a lovely day and we took ourselves for a walk along a bit of the Millennium Costal Path and on our way back, called into a cafe for coffee and a toastie brunch.
On Monday, DS1 joined us and the 2 of them decluttered the loft including all the floorboards. It took nearly 6 hours to get everything out. It turned out that there wasn't nearly as much of my stuff as I feared but there was a lot of junk left by the previous owners. That included an extremely large and once expensive carriage pram. Sadly, or maybe luckily, it was in a really bad state of repair so I didn't feel too upset when DS1 had to angle grind through the solid axle to get the wheels off so it could fit through the loft hatch. It's obvious looking at the ceiling that the loft access has been modified at least once.
Both DD and DS1 started the day saying that we would be doing a tip run but in the end we were all too exhausted. However, I said to leave the pram bits on the top of the drive and by 9am this morning, they were gone. One carriage pram decluttered. 😁
We stacked all the floorboards in the garage, something I could help with so I got a good step count yesterday as well as on the costal walk. 🤣 My friend from just up the road passed by with her dogs and said she would be happy to use the boards in her woodburner. so they too will be decluttered over the next while. They are old enough not to be chemically treated. I'm saving 2 or 3 to edge around a sitting area I'm making in the garden. Old boxes were flattened and also moved to the garage awaiting recycling along with 4 black bags of rubbish and dust from up there. 😱
I'm now ready for the loft insulation work on Friday. 😁
Most of today has been decluttered with online symptom checkers - GP and 111 - followed by a call to 111 and then a trip to the minor injuries unit at a local hospital. I'm still having problems with my left leg/knee after the fall I had at the beginning of August so DD gave me a good telling off for procrastinating about getting it checked. 🤣
The result is that nothing is broken or if it was, it's healed and nothing is out of place. However I still have swelling so there is obviously tissue trauma and it needs a longer time to heal. As ever, my head still thinks I'm 30 whereas my body knows I'm coming up on 72. 🤣🤣
Tomorrow is another day and hopefully it will feel a normal day and I can get on with either the washing or if the weather isn't playing ball, then it will be bottling more San Marzano tomatoes. They've been ripening well on the windowsill. In fact by tomorrow there might be more to pick for ripening. But for tonight, it's feet up and I think I have an episode of GW to watch. 😁
Hugs to those who want them and love to you all. Dxx

Florenceem £2 is MUCh too cheap for your gloves. Your beautiful work is worth much more.
dND, sounds like you had a lovely and very productive time with your family. Do you wear a knee support at all. I do sometimes when my knee is bad, I do feel like it helps a bit.
Well, I am slimmer of the week again. I came home with a shopping bag of food. It felt like harvest festival. They are foods which are helpful for slimmers. everyone at the group donates something each week. Lots of tins of tomatoes etc which is all good by me.
Mr V might be discharged from the complex wound clinic this Thursday. Manuka honey dressings have been very good for him. It is 3 months since he fell off the raised walkway..
The quilt just needs the binding hand sewing and we are done. The machine is put away. Do I need to keep the off cuts of the quilt fabric? really Justin? really?
The metal coal bunker has been emptied. The previous owners had been using it as a compost bin but no compost produced. The contents taken to the tip in a ton builders bag. The bunker is now on the drive. We will position it in it's new home tomorrow and I will use it as storage. It's first item will be the unused kitchen sink I currently have in the porch. As you do.
All I have managed to do today is 2 loads of washing, some crochet and I sanded the banister. It had very thick treacley varnish, as if had perished. It has taken me several attempts to get most of it off. It will still need more work.
Take care all Vx

Excellent decluttering GrannyKate 👏 Good luck dealing with the frogs before they turn into toads 🍀
Willowtree222, thanks for that 😊 I was a bit worried that you were giving up crafting - how silly am I 🙄
Florenceem, your lounge looks sumptuous 🤩
Yorkie1, even when they were told the answer it seemed to me that they had no idea who John McEnroe was 🤭
Excellent decluttering TC77 👏 Pleased to hear that you are noticing spaces 😊 I doesn’t matter if they are small as it is proof of your successful decluttering 🥳
Florenceem, I love the sign 🥰 Another beautiful pair of crocheted mitts 😍

@Willowtree222 they are beautiful! You are very clever.
@Florenceem I wish I had your talent.

@Willowtree222 beautiful. Always in awe of the talent of thr declutterai.
I have a full day at home and feel fatigued and not v motivated ao going to set out a timetable ( with rests) for frogs and decluttering so I can tick things off . It will be a guide only but hoping it may be a good way forward.

@vulpix I feel for you with the banister - it's what I'll be doing once I start on the redecorating. 😱 Yes I have an elasticated knee support which, when I remember to put it on in the morning, keeps the swelling down and helps relax the muscles. It still hurts to when I try to walk up stairs but it is better.
Congratulations on being Slimmer of the Week again. I really must losesome, a lot, of weight but I've never had much success with slimming clubs. 😔
🤞 Mr V gets his discharge and the wound gives no further trouble.@Mrs_Salad_Dodger I love a jay - that fleeting flash of blue is just so beautiful. I have a blue jay feather which always makes me smile.
@Florenceem & @Willowtree222 So creative, I am in awe. Re: pricing, it's difficult. There's a lot of work gone into homemade crafted items but people always compare the price to the cheap, mass-produced varieties. You can pick up a pair of mittens for as little as a £1 but they are pretty carp but people log that price.
Today is going to be a recovery day. I found yesterday stressful; my daughter going and the MIU, about 50 conversations going on around me all at the same time!
The guest bed has been stripped and I'm hoping to get it washed and dried today or tomorrow. I might do my general wash today as there is an outside chance of rain and it's easier to dry my clothes on the airer than it is a set of double bedding. Tomorrow might be a better bet for the bedding.Apart form that there's the tomatoes. 🍅🍅🍅😱🤣
Hugs to those who would like one and love to you all. Dxx
