Last of the darks washed and line dried. Did another load for DFriend. Started adding all the used tea towels to the machine and will top up with more whites from the laundry bin tomorrow. Supposed to be dry for the entire week.
Packed parcels sold on eBay and Vinted. Getting low on packaging - never thought I would hear myself say that!
Had dinner of frozen Roast lamb from months ago, frozen parsnips and swede from Easter 15p haul, fresh cabbage and carrots. Was superb if I say so myself.
Sorted out a case of LPs that DH no longer wants, he’s only keeping all his original Queen ones. Going to investigate various places to sell online etc.
@Deb4, best wishes to your mum and all of your family. I’m sure you’re all worrying and stressed.
Been a pretty productive week thankfully. Hoping to get more things out this week so I can start on the 3’ high pile of DHs unwanted clothing….oh my!

Quieter day today after a busy birthday yesterday. DGS4 came up to mine and helped with some gardening. I spoke too soon re plasterer being finished as the expected visit tomorrow to fit coving has been postponed until Friday. No date or price yet for the joinery and flooring part of the job.
916 Photos downloaded to date from phone
917 Everything cleared out of downloads and desktop - either deleted or saved
918 Box of office bits sorted and some binned
919 October cards written & addressed. Half the November ones done as well - I need a couple of special ones (21st and 18th)
920 Fridge cleaned out and random things binned
921 Cleared the rest of the lavender foliage - need to dig roots up now. Helped by DGS4.
I also decluttered some of my birthday chocolates and now have indigestion!

Morning all!
Not much happening today besides work, its very dark in the mornings when I get up now. I dropped my phone yesterday and smashed the screen although I can still use it ive ordered a secondhand one from Vinted and hope that its all okay! Ive also realised that most of people's Christmas presents this year are also second hand which saves me money in the long run!

Excellent decluttering GrannyKate 👏 Shame that you have to wait until Friday for the plasterer to finish but at least you were informed rather than them not turning up 😥

@suzeesu2000 I was always taught that if you’re going to do something you may as well do it properly! I do have other complications which is why it is never a good idea for me to fall and why they kept me in.
@energyshifter your garden is looking fabulous and great news for DS.
@Deb4 I hope all goes well for your mum and that she is home soon.
Neighbour came yesterday and we added to the clothes so 2 big bags gone. Also a freestanding towel rail, a picture and a serving dish which is too heavy for me to use. I may be able to find a few more things for her later in the week.

Morning all.
I sat and sewed ends in on my crochet mitts - 4 granny squares in each pair so 40 ends. Then of course there are ends to sew in when you do finishing crochet on palm end and ribbing on thumb and wrist area.
Plan to pop out for a bit of shopping - sunny day here.
I am hoping more cushion inners arrive today.
Hope everyone has a good day.

Good start this morning as I have already decluttered a car load to recycling centre. I had to go to bigger one in town as they take plaster board (coving) and the bonus is they open much earlier.
922- 926 Tip car load - garden waste mostly lavender; coving; wood from architrave and skirting boards; general bag of rubbish; batteries
I can also add 10 points to the big job total. I'm going to have a cup of tea then go and get my car valeted.

Great pic Floss and great idea. I have been looking at tiles very similar to yours for the fire place in the dining room.
My plans for yesterday didn't amount to much as DD1 visited and made dinner and tried to sort my apple id issue, again.
My builder came, we are on course to have the connecting doors in and new to me fire in by Christmas.
