dND - another one here who thinks she is 30 but is nearer to 80 than 70.
vulpix - thank you for the compliment on my crafting work. Off cuts of fabric are useful - I have seen videos where bits are sewn together to make more usable pieces or they can go into crazy/crumb quilts.
vulpix - where I live - anything on a drive seems to be taken.
Willowtree222 - beautiful arrangements of flowers.
suprisinglynice - I believe my ability to craft is a gift from God. Therefore I won't gain monetarily but raise funds for the SA.
TC77 - same here, I too will need a list today.
dND - yes cheap items can put people off paying a higher price. Inflation seems to have decluttered £1 mitts from Primar., at least what I have seen on the website.
I just couldn't/didn't want to get out of bed this morning. I don't like the earlier dark evenings and was diagnosed with SAD,
Anyway I am up now and will make the most of the day.
I plan to get a bus to near a school where I have a jacket found on my wall. Then I will walk to my daughter's house and put a birthday card through the door.
I want to work on more cushion covers today as the pads are sitting on a chair in my craft room.
I didn't close the front door until just before 10pm. This morning I struggled to open it as J has removed the handle. I got it open by putting my hand in the letter box space. It had stuck on the inner edge.

i can’t remember who else did it but i have just put a jumper wash on and then found the detergent sat on the top when i went to hang it up. Hey ho. Nothing dangerous to be done today.

Managed to get the last bits of the known where it is tupperware from the loft. Old stuff now binned as there is nothing to go with the mountain of lids. A new tupperware to the kitchen vessel now away in the cupboard ready for its use.
Re the kitchen it will be a declutter of money to buy a new washing machine due to the brilliant Miele I have not fitting under the side as they are too deep. The whole point of getting a "better" kitchen was to accommodate it. They really are better to be in a freestanding area. DH did offer to take the plaster board and bond mix off for it to sit further back. He is not fit to do that now. We have a qualified friend lined up for some plumbing and electric work to be done, I may get that added to the list of jobs OR get a new washing machine that will fit very neatly underneath. I went to expense on the corner cupboard to get the pull out shelving (future proofing) as was not prepared to be climbing into the back of a cupboard. It also helps with rotating items. The washer I have potentially lined up is under £330 with a 3 year warranty. Decisions decisions. 😣
Tiny declutter of a little paper bag with some bias tape in it used up finally from the sewing tin. Probably been in there 30+ years.

loving all the frugalistas washing clothes with no soap 😆. Tbh i bet your machines still frothed up at the window, there's probably enough leftover soap in all our clothes and all our washing machines to do a couple of washes with no fresh powder. Unless things were really manky I bet they would do just fine with a no soap wash occasionally, might try it myself 😁

@2Scratters re. your choice of washing machine, do you have access to Which? reviews? If not, and you'd like a look up for the one you're interested in, I'm happy to look it up for you 😊

Glad it’s not just me forgetting the washing liquid.
Quiet day today. Went through some of my pantry shelves for tins to make up a couple of hampers for a veterans charity I am supporting here on the island. I’ve got some other bits from the lovely Community Champion at Tesco too. Hope to have a nice big stack for them to collect. Trouble is I’m running out of space! I wonder if next door would lend me their sitting room?🤣
Wrapped more overnight solds and went through the remain8ng listings to see how I can “encourage”:them to sell.
Made corned beef hash for dinner using hash browns, it was really good, much nicer than using L/O potatoes.
Brought yesterday’s washing in, all dry and smelling lovely for being out all night. The sun was very warm and the sky was just one shade of brilliant blue, not a cloud in sight.
Have a good night all sweet dreams xxSaving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

@Florenceem - Call your items "hand-crafted" and sell them for 5 pounds each.

weenancyinAmerica - good idea but I think hard to get that amount of money.
Finished another pair.
I did do my planned trip to the school and my daughter's house - saw young J - he came up behind me and said - hello nan.

@Florenceem fab gloves and hope you got through your list better than i did mine.
The morning was good, few frogs, home insurance paid and dr appointment made , measured and ordered cover for our middish (odd) sized table tennis table which is relegated to the garden and hope it works.
Did some cleaning and decluttered papers x 2 , wooden spoon, old sponges and some unsubscribing. Also deleted photos last few days as couldn't do anything online without it.
Then decided to paint the shed , realised I don't have painting clothes really now but also got it on me - unpleasant preservatives so had another shower as akin irritant and then felt abit nauseous and headachy so thought I should stop and rest ( and rest again) and remembered I had a late pm walk with a friend.
Going to do a new list for tomorrow and start with those I forgot today.
Did find out that hazardous chemicals don't go to the tip ( had been about to ask neighbours if anyone going as a trek on the bus) in london but city of london do collections for all boroughs except hillingdon. Made a collection order listing each item and volume and will count when collected but have to be in cardboard ( or metal ) with different types eg corrosive ones together so my Justin collection of boxes will be put into good use!

TC77 - I have just written a list of jobs for tomorrow. It will be a day at home.
I finished making three cushion covers for on the bed in ROD - which is not cleared/decorated and needs new carpet before I can get a bed for in there.
I have had an idea about the garage - want some colourful tiles for the utility area wall. I would like young J to paint the ceiling and walls plus the garage floor. I can use the garage for craft storage so the small room upstairs can go back to being a single size bedroom.
