Thank you for my stars Mrs SD. Today we have gc staying over so I am trying very hard not to reclutter, decluttered spaces.🤣.
I have now moved a lot of stuff down to the craft shed for sorting so that I don't make a mess of what I have already done ! Now I can't find the crayons and colouring pens that they will need!
However I am embracing the redistribution and that's what counts. Good luck everyone we can do this! 👍

Yes @2Scratters Ifind myself having an extra scout about before bin days, just in case.
Dropped some more textile recycling off today along with the hard to recycle stuff at Boots.DSis and I had a lovely time at the Ramses exhibition at Battersea yesterday. My nerdy inner 6 year old (who was most taken with the Egyptians and especially Rameses) had a lovely day.

Nope. I do this as well! Mine is every three weeks so a gap in the bin is rare and needs to be filled.

I went into town as planned but forgot to go to the chemist - I hadn't put it on my list.
Daughter and granddaughter just called here with some bits I wanted from M & . They had been out to a farm to get local asparagus - brought me some - yummy - will have it tonight.
I did go to the shopping centre but wanted to get home with freezer bits. Farmfoo.. had an offer on chocolate - of course I bought the maximum 5 bars. I have loaded my freezer with Birds Ey. products 10 for £10 - quick meals for my busy time of sorting in the large ROD.
I am going to have a tidy up in my craft room as I have made it a bit messy with stuff coming down from upstairs.
I am still undecided about what colour to paint the feature wall in the large ROD.

Evening all,
Ive had a busy week with work, shift patterns are changing so ill never finish any later than 3pm throughout the week! Currently latest is 4.30pm. Not much decluttering has happened, ive bought a lot of clothes to resell and sold quite a lot, I have a lot to photograph list and bag, I plan on doing this tonight whilst OH is watching UFC.. hes staying up until 2am to watch the main fight. We've got two boot sales to do tomorrow too but I try not not buy stuff at boot sales just for the sake of it.
Tonight's dinner is Indian takeaway! Yuuum. Catch you all tomorrow 😊

I think I am getting barnacles on me bum! I’ve been sat all day with laptop thanks to those Yahoo email people. They are now going to limit storage or you have to pay, of course you do. We’ve had Yahoo emails since forever and I really do not want to go to another provider and all the hoo har that goes with it. So, last night and all of today, I have gone through every single folder in my emails and filed anything I really need to keep in their proper folder on laptop and the rest have gone in the bin. We have three emails that we use and I would say I have cleared 95% of the storage. Oddly, I feel “lighter” for getting rid of so much junk, I had stuff dating back to 2011. Fingers crossed I can keep to better practice in future.
Decluttered the last of the fridge veg. Also learnt that you can freeze mushrooms - I didn’t know but I do now. Just slice and open freeze then bag them and use from frozen. Who knew?
Listed some of DHs T shirts on Vinted yesterday and the bundle of sheets I listed the day before sold, they were posted today, along with an eBay sale, a birthday card Decluttered from my home made stash and a letter.
Barring flood and high water tomorrow, I would like to get the washing done so it’s ready to go out on Monday and also at least start repainting the old lizards from the garden wall. I’ve put the new ones up and they are so bright and colourful, nice to have some colour when you can’t have flowers.Have a good night all, sweet dreams xx

Been out with friends most of the day but did some tidying earlier today, moved printer from the dining room to the airing room/dd2 study. This has a bureau with a drop down leaf which stays shut only with the key locked but when you open it the key drops out, usually in the middle of the room but disappeared the other day. Took most things out from that half of room abiut 4 times.and crawled round with a torch and eventually found it and also couldn't find jeans I'd worn yesterday for a very long time!
Reminder that if I want things to be different I need to get my act together.
Got summer trousers together from white, beige, taupe , ecru etc..one pair to new cs bag, I I've got to see if they will.press ok and another I need the right underwear!
Looking at the pile of like with like things I think helps me with recognising abundance :)
5 cards given out, plastic container out , some paper and unsubscribing.
Draught pieces ( more than one set) . Kept another set but can't recall when I last played

Thank you for my gold star Mrs SD.

Many large chunks of rock given to the people over the road. They are building a rockery.Builder J says they are of no use for wall building as they have no suitable face. He has been today and dressed all the stone he needs to finish the retaining wall. He will be able to come Monday and crack on with it. I have given him rather a lot of money for reclaimed York stone slabs for the patio. Only having them on the front. Cheaper stone will be used in the back garden.
Mr V cut down a huge ivy plant that was covering the front wall. Green bin filled. Builder took the rest for the tip. He discovered a number plaque on the wall. He is going to remount the numbers on new wood.
I have given the bedside drawers from our room a sand and 2 coats of paint. Also given the head board one coat of paint. This furniture has had a lot of paint recently. 2 coats of undercoat, one coat of green, a coat of the wrong grey and now 2 coats of colour matched to the wardrobes grey. One more coat for the head board and 2 coats for the chest of drawers tomorrow on the cards. Then I can finally say our room is finished.
The 4 landing doors, frames, picture rail and skirtings have been painted. What a difference it has made. The doors were in a poor state. The loft hatch has been under coated. The door knobs and furniture have been painted black. Next I need to sand the banister and hand rail at the top of the stairs. I need to buy some oak varnish for that. I am coming to the end of what decorating I can do. No point in decorating downstairs till walls have been knocked down. There's still plenty to keep me going, I can only do short bursts of decorating. I can't stand for very long.
Sunday is my batch cooking day, I also have a friend coming for a natter. Better get some kip so I get up early and crack on.
Take care all. Vx
