I prefer some ventilation under.
You might consider fitting gutters and a directed downpipe to keep the runoff from the roof away from the base.
And paint as soon as practical. Pretty hard this time of year.

That’s a very good suggestion. It’s surprising how much water from the roof splashes up the side of a shed and can soon soak it. Gutters aren’t always the easiest to fit on shed roofs but they do help a lot.Lorian said:

The shed should be mounted on bearers to allow ventilation under the floor.
Otherwise that floor will rot away very quickly.
