I’m logging day 3/10 NSD. I’ve got sausage casserole in the slow cooker for food this evening, and I’m going to sort my home office as there’s papers everywhere. I’ve been off work since the end of October but am due back next week so it’s needs sorting. Keeping myself busy will help prevent any accidental spending!1

3/12 please @cathybirdIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Nice! I have a matching miniature dachshund. We rehomed her a year ago and had to DRAG her outside for a walk. She's a little more willing now. We don't have a wardrobe, other than a Santa Suit which went down well on the school run!Dizzycap said:Early call for a 6/20 NSD Wednesday - Food delivery already paid for arriving this morning with nothing else planned, including any spending as it's yet another rest day
Besides, it's far too cold for me to go out anyway
Although after tonights rain it was mild at 10pm, so I took *babyface on a much needed and wanted walk which she absolutely loved - Decked out in a tripple layered Harris Tweed coat, woolly hat, and boots. *Babyface is a miniature Dachshund who absolutely hates the cold, rain, & wind and not a human, although she acts and thinks she is!
Please don't think for one moment that I'm one of those obsessed dog owners who dresses their dog up daily and who has their own wardrobe of daily clothes
If I ever get anywhere near such a dibolical act, someone please shoot me, and quickly!

Mine is a rescue too. A 12 week old puppy who couldn't stand or feed / drink and then took a serious turn for the worse after her initial incompatible innoculations
- The Vet called me and asked if I could help; knowing I adore Daxies and had lost my beautiful ruby red King Charles Cavalier 2 years earlier. I didn't hesitate, and she was with me in a new home within 30 minutes. It was very touch and go 24/7 for 2 months with her having night sweats, being night bottle fed every hour on the hour, very early morning 4am physio sessions, and using my little finger as a teat to get her to eat solids and drink water while holding her back legs with my other hand so she believed she was standing and being independant - Bless her
Now she's the strongest and healthiest of the litter, although small for a miniature Daxie. What she lacks in size, she sure makes up with her outrageous & unconditional loving personality

@laurenh1 sorry to hear about yesterday! Hope today is better xx

@Dizzycap your Babyface sounds absolutely beautiful - so glad to hear she pulled through after such a rocky start. @MissMoneyMishap your dog sounds lovely too. All rescue dogs deserve a good home and to be loved xxx

I'm now 3/10 - thanks!
Today would have been a no spend day but I had to pay for 2 courses. I don't mind though because it is a Spring Growing and Garden course at a local organic market garden, and a Spring Wild Art Workshop - exciting! Spring is coming!🌷😁3 -
