I think what is particularly annoying is when they allow the item to be bought at considerable expense and only afterwards refuse to use it.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?1 -
My mums the other way.
She'd refuse it, say she doesn't need it but you buy her it anyway because you know it's supposed to help.
Since it's bought she's genuinely grateful & does use it.
It just doesn't work as expected.
