Does anyone have any experience with Hargreaves Lansdowne savings platform for fixed term cash ISAs?
Specifically,
a) how long do you have to fund accounts once opened?;
b) you don't appear to be able to transfer in from other cash ISAs to them but I presume you can transfer cash to their S&S and then move it to a cash one..?

Yes, from cash ISA to their S&S until they have worked on it. I wanted to do it a while back but only partial so you had to call up, online was only for a full transfer. They quoted 6 weeks timescale to cover themselves. I didn't do it and chose another ISA but for a test, I moved £1. It took about 4 days if that helps. It was from N/Wide or YBS.
I am still ahead but just fancied the ease of HL switching about at the time, once transferred that is. I would have taken the nominal hit, might be doing it shortly. The temptation is, once it is in the SS, you might want to invest it, well for some.
Yeah, cheers but nah, I will stick with yes, thank you and no.
Thank you.0
