Talk talk to UW migration

We have a line fault, so no landline and 3mbps internet speed. Called Talk Talk and after 2 hours online chat they tell me my account is marked for closure because I have switched to Utility Warehouse.
News to me.
Anyway it turns out Talk Talk have migrated my account to UW, without telling their own tech support.
Next I contact UW, which has to be done via whatsapp. After a week of sporadic messages, they tell me that I have no account with them and to speak to Talk Talk...
So we've had no landline and ultra slow internet for two weeks and counting and neither party is interested in fixing the line fault, which is Open Reaches domain...
Whats the next step to avoid going insane on chat bots and whatsapp over Christmas?
News to me.
