Parking charge after concert

My daughter paid for parking to attend a concert in Leeds on 29th September. She paid for parking until 11pm and returned to the car at 10.41, inputting her reg into the machine. She then went straight to her car. The car park was gridlocked, and not well managed at all by the parking attendants. After sitting in the traffic to exit for almost an hour, she finally exited the car park at 23:31.
From there she travelled straight to university.

She has just returned home for Christmas and opened the mail that was waiting for her, only to find a parking charge and debt collector’s letter threatening court action. The letter states that it is now too late to appeal.
The letter states “Parked with no valid permit” but my daughter has a screenshot of the parking invoice from 6:30 - 11:00 pm.
Any advice on the best course of action would be appreciated.

The parking charge is from Bay Sentry Solutions and and the debt collector’s letter is from DCBL.

Ignore the powerless debt collectors letters, nothing will happen regarding DCBL, just more letters
Post a redacted picture of the pcn, leaving the dates and times showing, so we can see the relevant non private information ( no personal information, no VRM details, no reference number, no name and address either. )
Is she quite sure that the correct VRM details were used with the pdt machine. ? No typos or errors. ?3 -
She says she is. She booked and paid in advance, then entered her reg number as she was leaving. On doing so, the machine (as she puts it) confirmed and “flashed green”.Is she quite sure that the correct VRM details were used with the pdt machine. ? No typos or errors. ?
We have text messages between us that confirm the time she got to the car.

If the queue was that bad there must have been hundreds in the same situation what has the venue or land owner said when you complained that their scammers are harassing people through no fault of their own?2

When you say " paid in advance " , is it open ended until she uses the machine to checkout ? Thereby it calculates her charge from entry and then allows time to leave. ? ( payment on exit. )
Or did she actually pay a figure up front ? Pre payment. ?
Need to see a redacted picture of the NTK pcn too
Can I suggest that you or somebody monitors her mail weekly, letting her know of important letters, otherwise she could miss important time sensitive letters from councils, authorities etc, stuff that cannot wait, otherwise it can be very costly3 -
Unfortunately she has only just got home and opened all the letters. 2 from Bay Sentry and 2 from dcbl.
The most recent one was sent on 2nd December.
Is it best to contact BaySentry or Citipark?0 -
Thats why her mail needs monitoring weekly, because if they were council penalties or police or authority penalties, she could be shelling out hundreds of poundsbrooke68 said:Unfortunately she has only just got home and opened all the letters. 2 from Bay Sentry and 2 from dcbl.

And if it had been a Money Claim N1SDT pack from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL, she would have a default CCJ against her within a few weeks, affecting her for 6 years if it wasn't paid promptly2 -
Yes we realise that now and feel pretty stupid. She’s now given us full permission to open all mail in future.

If she booked in advance, need to see the website etc, how it was done and to who , so as if you or we wanted to replicate it this month or next year
Ideally we need to see the actual location, plus pictures of the signage on that private property too1 -
The location was The Merrion Centre and First Direct Arena, Leeds.Screenshot of receipt attached.
