I think that I have a corrupt PST file - it's 3.4Gb in size
When I try send/receive on Outlook - I get a send/receive error
Is there a maximum size allowed ?
Anything I can do ?
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.

Yes there is and it is way below that file size. You could upload it to a file sharing site.1

its probably a maximum attachment size thats set by your email provider as an outlook data file can be upto 50 Gb in size
Who are you with?0 -
Is your PC an older system? Because if your outlook file is stored on a hard drive that is formatted with the FAT32 file system, this has a maximum file size of approximately 4GB which could be one reason.• The rich buy assets.
• The poor only have expenses.
• The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.0 -

Could use WE TRANSFER - use it on a regular basis - and it IS FREE - think file size is around 20gb max0

Run scanpst.exe https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/office/repair-outlook-data-files-pst-and-ost-25663bc3-11ec-4412-86c4-60458afc5253 and try to repair the *.pst file(s).If that doesn't work, try a repair of Office.I am running Office Pro Plus 2021 and my 'archive' pst file is currently 3.78Gb and working correctly.Sorry! Did the middle of my sentence interrupt the beginning of yours!0

Outlook, the fully featured one with PST files, is overkill for home use and is aimed at businesses.Once the issue is sorted I would seriously think about moving to another email client where you won't ever have to deal with PST files ever again.0
