I purchased a running top online from Karrimor for £22 plus delivery. When item was received it had a price tag of £12 or 2 for £19. Are they allowed to do this as I feel as though I’ve been ripped off

Nothing wrong, they offered it for £22 and you agreed. You could try contacting them and ask if they will honour the sticker price, no harm in asking.1

Classic Sports Direct! Return it and go buy it from one of their stores.2

I bought it from Karrimor without realising they are part of Sports Direct - lesson learned!1

You seem to be assuming without checking that the "£12 or two for £19" tag is correct and that it is available instore.Woodstok2000 said:Classic Sports Direct! Return it and go buy it from one of their stores.
I think I'd want to know that it was before returning it.2 -
It's easily done - they own a whole bunch of random brands like Jack Wills, Lonsdale, Slazenger, Game, Evans Cycles...goldfinch25 said:I bought it from Karrimor without realising they are part of Sports Direct - lesson learned!1 -
If you message them, they'll refund it back to you - I had the same with some underwear recently.
Advertised for £20, but labelled as £12!0 -
classic Sports Direct ... the karrimor brand is iirc owned by 'Frasers group' i.e. Sports DirectTadleyBaggie said:

Working out who actually owns a brand is far from simple. There are often multiple layers before you get to the real owners. It's certainly true on 'white goods' where multiple brand names are made on the same production lines but hit the market at different prices.0
