There's no pressure to conform to anything AntoMac, saving is a bonus and that's all we are here to doAntoMac said:Please can I add £28 for my second amount LMD (#15). My first one was an intentional amount. The rest will be randomish. Interesting to see how others are playing the challenge. I see you are combining yours with the SPC opening date in October. That might be a step too far for me as this is quite an expensive challenge as it is, but nonetheless an interesting idea, and food for thought.
I've updated the tracker for you

So it turns out that with Plum, the challenge runs its course regardless - so if a week has been missed because my bank account was running on fumes, it pays the following week and continues up to Week 52. I thought I had tweaked it to restart on 1 January but it appears not (same with the 1p challenge, which is slightly further behind!) so I'll have to see what happens after Week 52, whether it restarts itself or I have to do it meaning I'll always be 3 weeks behind!SPCNo.19 #20 (18 £1752.64; 17 £562.86; 16 £678; 15 £1120.92; 14 £416.53; 13 £191.52; 12 £260.48; 11 £480.95; 10 £682.31; 9 £442.64)

Why not start this challenge at the start of Jan, and include the last 3 plum payments? You will still have done 52 by the time we get to 31 December, and at the end of the day, saving is savingMrsShazbat said:LittleMissDetermined said:

I'm going random to a certain extent, will play it by ear because this month I have sooooo little spare. If and when I can, I will try to balance it like LMD, one large, one small and alternate.AntoMac said:Please can I add £28 for my second amount LMD (#15). My first one was an intentional amount. I don't know what SPC date is admittedly, from gather it's a savings challenge that runs on a different time frame to this.. I'm not doing that, but have just realised that I tend to buy my Xmas gifts from October and try to get the deals around Black Friday etc... so I'm wondering about it, but probably can't spare the cash to try to compact this challenge.
That said, I have filled an envelope this week, but got £21 cash for some scratch cards I found at work. Nobody claimed them, so they were given back to me. I am going to therefore, put that as an extra one...
£21 please @LittleMissDetermined
I'm always in it. It's just the depth that varies.Immediate Problem: Overdraft: £752.59 * Paypal £671.07 * Creation £592.74 = £2,016.04Phase 1: Vanquis CC £4100.11 * Tesco CC £3996.60 * Capital One CC £3800 = £11,896.71Phase 2: Zopa Loan: £12,7552 -

The sealed pot challenge opens around 20th October, so it's good timing for Christmas I find
It's perfectly acceptable to combine both, I include my envelope money in my sealed pot declarations.

I’m hoping it’s not to late to wish everyone a Happy New Year 🎉
Decided to start this year with the £1 (which I saved until last, in 2025’s challenge) but also clear off the highest too. All tucked in away in an online account, which is purely for this challenge.

Yes I'm just going to leave it as is and will a) see what happens after Week 52 and b) carry on either way xSPCNo.19 #20 (18 £1752.64; 17 £562.86; 16 £678; 15 £1120.92; 14 £416.53; 13 £191.52; 12 £260.48; 11 £480.95; 10 £682.31; 9 £442.64)
