SAR request refused from Euro Parking Services Limited
I have told them that they recognise my name, email address and postal address as they have already corresponded with me via both (with personal details that are GDPR related) so they should not need ID but, as they insist, I will play ball and send it, but I have told them I'll send my ID however I want a secure method, NOT email (which is notoriously insecure); they claim it's their policy and won't budge and insist on it via email.
Any suggestions on what I should do here?

Is (normal) email literally the only method they'll accept? Not post?1

Email is not an issue2 -
But not unredacted of course, e.g. they don't need your DOB or mother's maiden name or whatever.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You could report them to the ICO; what are they going to do with your photo? Do they have a database containing photographs of all the people in the UK?5

"DVLA’s top tips for avoiding scamsNever share your driving licence or vehicle information online
Getting your driving licence is a big milestone, and you may be tempted to share your new shiny licence or V5C (log book) on social media.
However, both documents contain key identifying details that scammers can use to steal your identity or even clone your vehicle. And before you know it, you could be receiving parking, congestion or speeding fines that you were not responsible for."
Just saying!!

Emailing a formal document is absolutely an issue as emails are unsecured and bounce around a number of servers between my PC and theirs and can very easily be intercepted.ChirpyChicken said:Just email

So no, not emailing.• "A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on."
