Today's win: I scraped together a vinted sale of £2 and some loose change in all the accounts to get £7 towards the debt.
So we have started working towards the next £1k.

Today's win: The husband and I had a top-level strategic money chat last night and decided to throw everything we can at the debt to get it paid off as soon as possible. At the moment it is being paid down just by extra money we make from selling things or interest, round downs or windfalls like council tax so this should be a bit of a game changer for us. I wonder how quickly we can pay off £5.5k of credit card debt!! Let's find out.

You’re on a roll! I’m sure that £5.5k will come down quickly now you have both really set your minds to clearing it.

I hope so, it’s a balance between other things that we need to do in the house and also holidays.
Im thinking of pausing paying into my private pension for the time being as I can always catch that up in the future.
