My travel hack would be to buy a single adapter for the country and then take a small extension lead or 3-way adapter to plug into it.
Then you can take all your existing plugs and cables. Much easier (wish I realised before I invested in 4x EU adapters, 4x US adapters, etc - I never use them now).
In my experience it's cheaper getting a specific adapter for various regions etc than an 'all-in-one' type thing.

I have one of these, but it only does UK or EU via a changeable head. They don't appear to do one with US as well.Giraffe76 said:Hi all, looking for recommendations for a worldwide travel adaptor hub to be used for charging & a power lead that has usb a and c with a changeable head

I also have an Anker two port USB plug that I use with an EU adapter, I'd just buy a US adapter plug separately and use it with that if I was going to the US.0 -
just take a UK 4 bar extension lead and a single adapter. Personally prefer just an adapter for the country being visited than one of the ones that claim to do every country in the world but ends up being really bulky and a pain to work out which levers to pull or bits to twist0

I have a worldwide Hyleton travel adapter which works well, and has 4 type C ports. It is very compact, easy to use, and has a case. If I needed type A I would take a separate adapter and a charger for the device. I used to take an adapter and a four gang extension lead with all the chargers, but the Hyleton adapter is a much neater solution.0

I now only take USB powered items, an adapter and a small plug in USB block with 4 USB B and C outlets and a few different USB cables.
Most hotels now also have USB power outlets in rooms so no adapters are required.0 -
It's a risk using unknown USB points, unless you have cables that are power only.daveyjp said:I now only take USB powered items, an adapter and a small plug in USB block with 4 USB B and C outlets and a few different USB cables.

If only hair straighteners came with USB ports I would agree with you!daveyjp said:I now only take USB powered items, an adapter and a small plug in USB block with 4 USB B and C outlets and a few different USB cables.

I personally would not do this. Travel adapters tend to be very poorly made. Extension cable are the number one cause of in the Uk. So I can’t imagine theMyRealNameToo said:just take a UK 4 bar extension lead and a single adapter. risks abroad. Single units with usb’s as required.
