DCB legal suing me.

Morning/ afternoon. I have parasitic bottom feeders called DCB legal suing me. This relates to a parking ticket that was put on my car in April last year. I have got no idea about any of the circumstances surrounding it because it was so long ago I have forgotten. I have filed an acknowledgement of service but the last time I went up against one of these companies I came to this forum and got all the advice, and I went to court and I lost, and it cost me £600. It’s been awhile since and I can’t really remember much of what to do about anything of it anymore. They are claiming £170 for the parking charge and damages and a total amount of £277.56  as I mentioned, I cannot remember everything that goes along with doing a defence for this sort of thing, so any advice would be much appreciated !

In claim form image posted the password is showing in Important Note section, needs redacting.
Give the issue date on the Claim form and date AOS done.
See post 1 & 2 of the Template defence Announcement thread, top of page 1.

And if you follow forum advice and meet court deadlines, you too will join the 730 (at time of writing) who have successfully forced DCB Legal to capitulate and discontinue the claims against them.

Yes, cases over £600 will go to a hearing because it's easier to enforce a judgment. Sorry you lost at the lottery of a hearing. This one will almost certainly be discontinued, but who is the claimant? No need to cover up the twit's name.

Yep, you've left the password showing but have redacted an important piece of information, the date of issue.  If you tell us the date of issue we can advise on deadlines for defence.

So ECP, DCB LEGAL,  26/11/2025 issue date,  the AOS is first,  then the template defence,  but you need to redact the password in the picture and replace it ASAP

Nailed on discontinuance - ECP with DCB Legal representing them, probably account for around half of the 730 discontinuances recorded in the Discontinuance thread.

    Just follow the process.
