I have made 'invest" and bought £100. Getting same. I assume it is cos they have to wait until markets open to process the order?

I did this today - was very easy to set up the account, and within minutes of depositing £100, I have £50 of Lloyds shares.  I have put my £100 into a diversified fund which in theory should track the market and minimise the chances of any losses.  Planning to withdraw everything as soon as I can ;-)

Of course, you can invest your £100 in anything, e.g. other funds, shares in a single company etc, it just depends on your risk appetite.
Is the Identity verified electronically or need to upload a passport or other document?

I decided to go for Vanguard FTSE All-World (Acc) just to start with and get my £50 of shares.
The shares it gave me were for H&M and have already gone up to £52.91

It scans a passport or driving licence

I got £50 of BMW shares
Not sure if they're good shares or not. I drive a BMW, and love their cars, so happy with them :)

Well you can keep or sell. If you sell then don't think you can withdraw for 30 days, but can either have it earning interest as cash until then or invest in something else.

    Probably a stupid question but…

I have done the ‘ 212 Invest’ as already filled up cash ISA this year. I put £100 in  (linked to blackrock core) but in notifications it says ‘You are one step away from getting free fractional shares’. Have I missed something I need to do or is the notification wrong/out of date?
For me it just did the invest and then had to wait a little while until the markets opened. Then it showed my purchases including the £50 of free shares at the same time.

Just don't expect any indicators for when to buy or sell

I clicked on the link but it's showing as 50 Euros not £50, is that the same for everyone but they actually pay out in GBP?
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.
