Yes you are correct it is a Freeview Box you require but it is hard to imagine a TV without Freeview tuner in it, what have you got please?0

Ideally your tv should have an hdmi connection to link up to the box.
If the tv is old then it may only have a SCART connection (rectangular) so ensure the box you buy is compatible.1 -
If your TV has an HDMI socket and you have good internet broadband then you could get one of the new Plexio Freely boxes. It's looking increasingly likely that Freeview will be replaced with Freely in a few years.

It's out of stock at the moment but stock seems to arrive every couple of days.

There is a Freely App for Amazon Firesticks (apparently only some Fire TVs) as well, there used to be a TV Player App on Firesticks which gave you Freeview via the internet although I've never tried it or know if it's still a thing.Peter999_2 said:If your TV has an HDMI socket and you have good internet broadband then you could get one of the new Plexio Freely boxes. Search for the model number online. You will find a link to the Samsung support pages. Choose the manual option and find the manual you want. Download it and print it out if you want a hard copy.2 -
The LE32C530F1WXXU is from 2010, its probably one of the last "dumb" TVs from that era before everything came with Freeview.Rear: 2 x HDMI, VGA, component, 1 x Scart, aerial, audio & headphone outs
Side: HDMI, Composite video, USB, Common Interface slotIf you just want a Freeview receiver this'll do it:1 -
You can get Freeview and Freesat boxes at "all good dealers"Freeview works off a TV aerial or over the interweb, whereas Freesat adds the capability to run of a satellite dish.(I bought my Freesat box at Argos and it was a straight swap for a Sky Q unit).1

I don't think that's guaranteed to work, depending on the LNB on the Sky dish and the Freeset box. LNBs can be changed at the dish though.prowla said:You can get Freeview and Freesat boxes at "all good dealers"Freeview works off a TV aerial or over the interweb, whreas Freesat adds the capability to run of a satellite dish.(I bought my Freesat box at Argos and it was a straight swap for a Sky Q unit).2
