DCB Legal, Parkmaven , WS stage , September

I thought that DCB discontinued most if not all claims? My plan was to wait until the hearing fee date (14th of September) to see if they've paid and only then draft a WS as I would have another 2 weeks to do so before the deadline.

For most of their clients, especially in cases of less than £600 , you are correct, anything above that figure may go to a hearing, so it depends on what their client decides to do ( in your case its Parkmaven. ). You did mention this caveat in one of your earlier posts, don't just focus on DCB LEGAL decisions, include Client decisions )
Your plan above is an excellent plan that everyone should follow, especially if the 3 dates line up ( hearing fee date, then WS deadline date, then hearing date, in that order. )
I suggest that you edit your thread title to something more suitable like
DCB Legal, Parkmaven , WS stage , September

I would need to book the day off work to attend the hearing which would lose me around £150, I think I am better off settling for £300 at this point. I am not confident I would win if it went to a hearing to be honest.

Definitely a bad plan, especially at the stage before the hearing fee deadline
Your earlier plan was much better
I cannot recommend paying out £300 , plus many regular helpers on here are likely to choke on their cornflakes when they see your last plan

You are not better off settling now! Wow. I'm astonished you think that.
I did choke on my cuppa!
- they will almost certainly discontinue
- sit tight… your plan to wait & see is sound
- in the VERY unlikely event that they don't discontinue, you simply bung in a WS & evidence with a covering email stating to the local court that you cannot attend the hearing due to work commitments so you ask the judge to hear the case in your absence (do not cc that to DCB Legal as you don't want them to know that)
- of course you do have to share the WS and evidence with DCB Legal but you'd just email it separately without comment as to hearing attendance.
- we predict none of the above will be necessary.
You'll never have to pay it at the rate shown on the Claim Form even if you lost at a hearing that won't happen/or - if I'm wrong on that - you do not have to attend as long as you excuse yourself 2 weeks before.
You should be confidently awaiting your NoD. Sit tight.

You're panicking, which is exactly why they play this game of chicken.
Have I missed the date for them to pay their hearing fee?
I'm guessing this is before the WS deadline and therefore you should ring the court the day after the hearing fee deadline to see if they've paid it.

Good morning all, recieved notice from the court this morning that the hearing fee has been paid. So it seems I'm going to court :(

You better ensure that your WS has been submitted to both parties. ( DCB Legal & your local civil court. )

What is the deadline for the WS?
Where is the location so we can look on Streetview?
I've seen them pay the WS and still not turn up on the day.2 -
- Can you share photos of the signs?
- Has the driver been identified at any time?
- Can visitors obtain a "reservation" or is it members only?
- In any case, was having a reservation impossible in all cases because the venue was closed?
I'm a random person on the internet. I hold no legal qualifications and nothing I say is advice.
