    The other one that I see doing the rounds ATM is about your rent being due.

    As a aside to this does anyone ever open one of these and input garbage information?  or would that be inadvisable.

    That would not be a good idea as sometimes clicking on a link can download a virus onto your computer.  That is why all the links are disabled when the email goes into your spam folder

    Best just to delete forever anything in your spam folder without opening them, they're usually extremely obvious (excepting perhaps for the OP).

    I got this one, and it was very realistic. Far more so than any other scam email I've had, with the forms looking exactly like the legitimate ones. I was a bit distracted when I opened it, and came very close to putting my details in, before common sense kicked in. I'm normally very on the ball with scams, but this one will have caught a lot of people, I'm sure.
