A word of warning from a dental perspective!

It's not just the sugar that you have to beware of in carbonated drinks, it's the acidity!!!!
Soda water will still be acidic so do watch the amount that you are drinking!!!!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

The acidity depends not only on how much it has been carbonated (forms carbonic acid) but also how much sodium bicarbonate has been added (which tends to make it alkaline).

Soda water is not identical to carbonated water.

My personal favourite is Council Pop. Straight from the tap, free (I don't believe in water meters), and delicious. Best non alcoholic drink ever.

(or 50/50 with white wine, but that probably negates the health benefits :o).

Soda water is actually alkaline (hence why it's good for heartburn).

There is a taste to carbonated water, I don't know so much about soda water (never tried it, assumed it was the same thing). It tastes.. uhm carbonated (?) its got a carbony undertone kinda like sucking on coal (yes I have, don't ask ;)). I love decaf diet coke and would love to switch to something without all the preservatives etc. but I cant seem to kick the habit of swigging something fizzy every now and then.

It's probably because I buy cheap soda that it tastes just like cheap carbonated water....honestly, they taste identical to me! :p

    Don't you pay water rates?

Been to three local supermarkets, and I still can't find any!!!

Got some Eden Spring carbonated water from Asda though, just as nice
