As it is just water and bubbles.
So you'd just need the machine and the gas canisters to make the bubbles (no syrups for flavoured drinks)
You can, but you would need to add the sodium bicarbonate in. Not sure which works out cheapest TBH..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Good tip for a cheap nite out..................drink Lime and soda, the pubs don't charge for the soda so it costs between 25p and 40p, even in a club! If you're flush, and not driving, try vodka, lime and soda, delicious!0

Hi there
I too LOVE soda water. Your Mum must be onto something because I first fell in love with it when pregnant. My favourite was a pint tumbler with half soda water, half milk
Mind you, when suffering from heartburn nowadays I have a quarter teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda with a small amount of milk. It gives THE best burp ever and the heartburn has gone. I call it an Irn Bru burp because there's nothing better.:o I know, I share too much.Grocery Challenge M: £450/£425.08 A: £400/£.May -£400/£361 June £380/£230 (pages 18 & 27 explain)0 -
well i am not allowed aspartame because its sends me high and then depressed ~ however since stoping it i am more depreesed than ever  anyways back on topic i drink water, water and more water however i am not very mse on it because i will only drink bottled stuff. Yes i am the person at the pub edemanding its given to me in the bottle :rotfl:. I wont drink it out of teh tap at home either because all at water goes via a tank in the attic, only that tank has been there as long as this house (nearly 90years) its bad enough washing in the stuff let alone drinking it. However i have took a liking to cranberry flavoured water (work does a 2l bottle for only 20p more expensive than plain water) and lucozade as it has no aspartame in it. But i get the cheaper asda version ~ a bigger bottle for only 59p :rotfl:0

Pop up into your attic and have a look in the tank - if it has a dead rat in it - fish it out...
On a more serious note - the cold water tap in the kitchen is usually always direct from the mains - it's the other taps that are fed from the tank."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Guess I created a run on Soda Water at my local Asda. Just came back from there and the shelves are empty.0

I'm another secret soda drinker...lol. I like mine with fresh orange, or a squeeze of lime, or a bit of peppermint cordial (or 50/50 with white wine, but that probably negates the health benefits
).

Pap, I am sure your cold tap will be direct from the mains, not via the tank. And tap water has to meet far stricter standards than bottled water does.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620
