Activating a Lebara Roaming Package from outside the UK

Hi
We're travelling next year to 3 countries. In the first we're given a mifi gadget so won't need roaming. After that we'd like to buy a Lebara roaming package for each country. I've previously done this before we leave the UK but obviously we won't need them to be live till we reach the 2nd and then 3rd country (both are places where we can buy a roaming pack). I can't find any answers on how feasible this is to do,  so hoping someone here has been able to do this and can tell me how easy it was ( or not).

We'd prefer not to buy a local SIM so we can keep the same UK number. If its not possible I may look into moving providers but Lebara/ Vodafone has the best reception for us.

Thanks
