Help to Buy ISA - help

I opened a Help to Buy ISA just before they were stopping them a few years ago. I put in £1 to open it and have never done anything with it. I’m looking to purchase my first home next year. Am I too late to start putting money in? I believe I can’t put in a lump sump? e.g. put in 4k lump sum to get 5k back) or can I? Any help appreciated.

I think these are restricted to a maximum of £200 per month after the first month.0
