P.S. Expresso, do you by any chance recommend CoffeeCup FTP?

Sorry all but that went over my non-techhie head :o I would love to maybe in a few months when work isn't so hectic and I can get my head round things. I think the spreadsheet will only change once a year though. Martin recommended my spreadsheet to MSE users and I needed to update it so as long as MSE are happy with the content and loading page Memetic has created, it should be fine. Here's to 2008 budgeting! :T

It is very easy to transfer your one file to your own webpage, instructions here and then it would not contain advertising.
If it's only the change of date e.g. 2007 to 2008, can't you get excel to automatically display the current year?

If the general consensus is the Google ads on the landing page are problem I'll remove them.

    Mods, any view on this?

I don't really think you need to ask the mods - they should go.

If I was asked to host something for this site, I would not try to make money out of it through Google ads, I would host it for free.

As a new user to this site, you should read the rules regarding advertising, referrals etc. This is one reason that EagerLearner should host the spreadsheet on their own webspace and stay in full control at all times. You are the third user to host this file in a short timespan, so the situation is far from ideal.

EagerLearner should host the file themselves, it's easy enough if they really are an eager learner!

Touche! I know, I know - it's just the time at the moment - I can't find my broadband paperwork relating to webspace, will prob have to call them sometime this month and work it out but thanks Memetic for all your help so far :T

The change to the spreadsheet is more than just the date, I've adjusted various charts so they are more functional, corrected glitches and added a section so everyone can get more out of it - feeback on the thread for it has been very good so far :j

So why is there still a link to "Allan Edwards DipM MCIM Chartered Marketer" and a page full of hyperlinks. etc.

Free means free, not free plus advertising!

If you need another host, fire me PM. I can host it on an ad free, spam free, virus free and caffene free (Ok, well maybe not that last one) machine.
