Yes - monies were taken straight away!Westin said:
You did right to apply direct (despite your current issue). I would never recommend a 3rd party for most visa/ETA applications.onesixfive said:

Thinking the same. Luckily for us these are always confirmed and issued immediately. I do hope you can get this resolved quickly.MyRealNameToo said:Ultimately you are asking to be a guest in their country, you have no right to enter and so they can take as long or as short as they want to.
What class of visa did you apply for? There are very different processing times.
Guess the Electronic Travel Authority (601) didnt work for you for some reason as thats normally same day stuff.

OP - Did you use the official website, or a 3rd party service operator?
We used the app.
Wishing we had used 3rd party now! Although advice beforehand was to apply direct.
Just a thought but has your payment been actually taken from your credit/debit card?0 -
Update: Travel agent made contact & apparently App & Immi are totally separate items - so they helped us today to use Immi to re-apply for 651 - there was no charge! (unlike the App), & no apparent overlap which 3rd party agent was worried about. My Visa came through immediately. Just awaiting Hubby's - fingers crossed.3

Well, the visitor visas are free. I am now very confused as to what App are you talking about and why there was even a payment involved?onesixfive said:
