No notification received yet about Winter Fuel Allowance

Apparently letters were supposed to go out to State Pensioners in Oct/Nov notifying them of upcoming WFA. I was receiving it no problem before (except last year) now I am having a bit of a panic as I haven’t heard from DWP. I am on State Pension only no extra personal pensions. Anyone else experiencing a delay?

Neither of us received a letter, but my wife’s £100 went in last week and mine went in this morning plus 2x £10 Christmas bonuses, so no need to panic yet.

Have you checked your energy account to see if it in there already.

WFA is paid into the same account as your state pension, not an energy company account.

The OP is talking about the Winter Fuel Allowance benefit which will be paid into their Bank Account - the Warm Home discount which is paid via the energy supplier is something different.
