    Hi all,

I've read through the newbie thread and still wanted some guidance about this.

I received a NTK from Brewerygate Limited for a parking contravention on 11/11/2025. The reason for issue is "Overstayed for the type of ticket purchased"

I've attached images of the letter with details at the end of this post.

I read similar threads like (can't post links):
    discussion/6526615/parking-charge-from-brewerygate-limited
    discussion/6509988/pcn-ntk-with-no-photo-evidence
    discussion/6624058/ongoing-brewerygate-issues-and-illegal-reset-2-years-later-sanctioned-by-ipc/p1

It sounds like appealing to the landowner is of no use as it looks like they own an operate this car park. I understand my next action should be to appeal via the online process. However I'm not entirely sure on what grounds should I be appealing? I suppose I did overstay, and would be more than willing to pay the right tariff.

From the threads above, it sounds like I might be in for the long haul as it does seem like these guys are quite persistent, which I don't mind, but I'd like to check my understanding of the expected steps:
    1) Appeal to PPC (just need some help figuring out what this should say)
    2) Following inevitable appeal rejection, ignore it (not trying IAS)
    3) Seems like they go straight to legal action via Gladstone - guess I should just wait for this and seek more advice?

    Thanks

    Hi all,

l've now received a "Letter Before Action" letter.

    How should I proceed?

And the prize for the fastest ever LBA in a private land parking case goes to...

    BreweryGate Ltd. Utter scammery:

    - Alleged contravention: 11/11/2025

    - Non-compliant LBA: 15/12/2025 (with no information, reply forms or deadlines but £60 added for no work whatsoever).

    Ignore it.

That toilet paper is not issued under the PAP for debt claims. It's just intimidation & greed. Double recovery at its most glaringly obvious. What work/costs of the operation were covered by the £100 PCN then?!

For the OP. This is the protocol a LBA/LBC should follow:

Thanks all, will continue to ignore in that case!

For completion, I did previously receive a reminder which I of course continued to ignore. Here it is:

So, still utter scammery and laughable haste to rush to court, thanks to the nasty industry joke 'Joint Code' dumping the measured series of reminders timeline that used to be in the BPA Code since 2012, but is now history:

    - Alleged contravention: 11/11/2025

    - Reminder 1/12/2025

    - Non-compliant LBA dated just two weeks later: 15/12/2025

(with no information, reply forms or deadlines but £60 added for no work whatsoever).

All this within one month flat and:

    - the fake LBA is false (BreweryGate are not about to sue; if they did, it would be in 2026 via Gladstones) and

    - that LBA is misleading: it lies about complying with the PAP for debt claims and lies that you can be sued straight after this letter (you can't).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Hi all,

Well Gladstones have now got involved.

Please see the letter contents below, dated 9th Jan (I was away for the last 3 weeks so have only seen this now). Any advice would be much appreciated!
