Brewerygate parking fine

Hi all,
I've read through the newbie thread and still wanted some guidance about this.
I received a NTK from Brewerygate Limited for a parking contravention on 11/11/2025. The reason for issue is "Overstayed for the type of ticket purchased" as I had bought 2 hours parking, however had returned later than that.
I've attached images of the letter with details at the end of this post.
I read similar threads like (can't post links):
discussion/6526615/parking-charge-from-brewerygate-limited
discussion/6509988/pcn-ntk-with-no-photo-evidence
discussion/6624058/ongoing-brewerygate-issues-and-illegal-reset-2-years-later-sanctioned-by-ipc/p1
It sounds like appealing to the landowner is of no use as it looks like they own an operate this car park. I understand my next action should be to appeal via the online process. However I'm not entirely sure on what grounds should I be appealing? I suppose I did overstay, and would be more than willing to pay the right tariff.
From the threads above, it sounds like I might be in for the long haul as it does seem like these guys are quite persistent, which I don't mind, but I'd like to check my understanding of the expected steps:
1) Appeal to PPC (just need some help figuring out what this should say)
2) Following inevitable appeal rejection, ignore it (not trying IAS)
3) Seems like they go straight to legal action via Gladstone - guess I should just wait for this and seek more advice?
Thanks

Yes i know this site in Liverpool well, come back if you get a court claim
Now this is what I would do in this case. If you were not the driver (and this a solid tactic which is highly effective) not one i announce on this forum but it works a treat and costs can be quite nice to.
If the RK is able to say they were not the driver. Then the RK should name the driver around day 28 of the LBC from Gladstones to brewery gate Ltd directly.
Therein lies a full defence in law as per POFA.
Simple yet highly effective
If you do this then certain firms will even pay for a strike out application off their own back and keep any legal fees costing the parking firm several thousand £
---
A certain parking firm was threatened with a strike out application last week when DCB legal sent out a standard reply to a LBC reply where a RK named driver. They soon moved sharpish when the head of legal and the owner of the parking firm was told a strike out would cost them a few £K for any claim against a non liable party (and with the parking firm knowing the RK was not the driver) as it would be a clear abuse of process
Its amazing how quick parking company owners act when they are threatened with expensive legal costs

Very interesting, unfortunately that doesn't apply to me I'm afraid so will need to use a different defence if it comes to it.
For the appeal itself, I will appeal on the grounds of poor signage as there's only a single unlit sign at the entry, and none near the other pedestrian exits. Additionally, paying on the app doesn't display these "terms" anywhere. Not sure if it really matters what I say, but will give it a go!

There is something a bit wrong where the owner of the site, that charges for parking, puts up poor signage and then rakes off parking charge are all the same entity! This family are also amateurish Muppets.3

Don't bother appealing .BennyBanks365 said:Very interesting, unfortunately that doesn't apply to me I'm afraid so will need to use a different defence if it comes to it.

And the prize for the fastest ever LBA in a private land parking case goes to...
BreweryGate Ltd. Utter scammery:
- Alleged contravention: 11/11/2025
- Non-compliant LBA: 15/12/2025
(with no information, reply forms or deadlines but £60 added for no work whatsoever).
Ignore it. That toilet paper is not issued under the PAP for debt claims. It's just intimidation & greed. Double recovery at its most glaringly obvious. What work/costs of the operation were covered by the £100 PCN then?!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

BreweryGate Ltd. Utter scammery:
- Alleged contravention: 11/11/2025
- No polite reminders because the Joint Code binned them. Hey, why not add £60, not pass GO and instead go straight to court threats?!
- Non-compliant LBA: 15/12/2025
(with no information, reply forms or deadlines but £60 added for no work whatsoever).

For the OP. This is the protocol a LBA/LBC should follow:

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thanks all, will continue to ignore in that case!
For completion, I did previously receive a reminder which I of course continued to ignore. Here it is:
