Council refuses to allow grave stone inscription

    Did you get permission to place the horizontal stone on the grave?
  • Last year I took part in a Law Commission consultation that included looking at rules around requesting changes to headstones, ahead of proposed changes to the law on a wide range of things related to burial and cremations.  

    Every local authority in the country were included in this, which might be why some are tightening up on existing rules now.
