Understanding letter of confirmation in Scotland

Hi can anyone help. I need to submit forms for confirmation for an estate in Scotland. Property owned jointly by spouse with a survivor destination on the title. I had understood this meant the property passed automatically to the Spouse but do I still need to include the property on the forms and if so, assume it's 50% of the value given the property was jointly owned?
Also, this would mean the estate is a large estate rather than a small estate. How easy is it to do the paperwork as there is not much other than some cash and premium bonds and a bit of jewellery. I am legally qualified but not in Scotland so I would think I can work it out but some guidance is appreciated.
TIA

Assuming that the deceased was domiciled in Scotland and that there is a (Scottish) will.
Assuming also that Confirmation is necessary to access the premium bonds and/or cash.
The house share which passes by survivorship is not included in the C1 inventory but is included in the IHT calculation on page 5.
There is information on these forum threads which may help you.
Grant of Confirmation (but beware of inaccuracy in some of the earlier (10 year old) posts.
