Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some help regarding an old PCN from the 08/03/2024. I was not driving the car at the time but I am the registered keeper.
DCB Legal Ltd have now notified the County Court in Northampton that they now wish to make a claim against me for overstaying the free time allocated, during a visit to the gym in 2024.
I’ve read through some of the newbie threads and through some of the other threads of peoples experiences regarding the same issue that I have now. I have a rough idea of what to do next, but could really do with a little bit of guidance so I don’t make any silly errors that I might regret.

With an issue date of 25/11/25 and providing you complete(d) the AoS after 30/11/25 and before 14/12/25 your defence deadline date is 4.00 p.m. on 29/12/252

FYI they will eventually discontinue. We used to see Euro Car Parks claims every day, but Smart Parking appear to have taken the top spot for DCB Legal claims heading for discontinuation.3

Easy to defend. The simplest one!Stockport128 said:
But we are trying to avoid lots of separate threads about Smart Parking claims because the defence is a standard 11 paragraphs. We are now creating a group thread; watch this space:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6642762/hm-court-tribunals-service-letter-on-ignored-pcn-smart-parking#latestMore info will be added this weekend with a confirmed defence for everyone to use, to stop the separate threads drowning us!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
