    Hi I can confirm I have checked settings on both accounts which excludes Evri.    As the buyer had chosen Evri and I was unable to comply with this- ( I`m going into hospital tomorrow and had run out of time to take it to the pick up shop which is quite a way from me) I cancelled the order and contacted the buyer.

    I have asked the agent to escalate my concerns but doubt that will happen... :(

    This wasn`t an unusual item, it was for a double duvet cover+ pillow cases.
    Just to reiterate, buyer did not choose. The system chooses the cheapest method from the 2 couriers, or if one is not possible for buyer, automatically goes to the other one. If your settings are firm then this must have been a glitch.

    Now back from hospital...just to add I haven`t had this before but very glad to report there were no repercussions.  I still believe if I choose RM then that the one I want to use.  I live in the suburbs.

    If it happens again I would cancel again.  As it is I`m having to wear a binder for three months so travelling to an Evri shop two miles away is less than appealing!

    My local post office now take Evri parcels as well as Royal Mail.

    All my local ones do, but the website does say 'participating' so maybe not all;
