Wife's Honor phone - fed up with app market notifications

The OH has an Honor mobile that keeps on giving her notifications (several times a day) of updates and new apps for the App Market.

She asked me to somehow stop this from happening. 

I expect the App market can't be removed but is it possible to prevent the notifications by removing permissions or through some third party add on ?

Sorry they are not third party ads they are official honor notifications

My wife has an Honor 8s but she isn't getting this issue - I don't think we have done anything to stop ads so maybe your OH has switched something on in error?

I have an Honor 200 lite and only get 1 a day.

On my Honor it looks like this should do:- 

Settings
Apps
Permission manager
Notifications
App Market

Turn off 'Allow notifications'

Edit: maybe do the same for 'My Honor', mine was disabled for notifications which is perhaps why I was getting so few.
