Virgin Media pricing models

Why is trying to find out how much your broadband provider will be charging you after the promotional discounts and contract ends so hard? Is there any way to get at the real costs of say the M125 broadband costs once you're out of contract?

Not really, I had a 18 month contract for M350 that was supposed double in price at contract end in December, but I had a offer in July for a new 24 month contract for the no increase in what I was paying on the old contract.

Every month Virgin Media email to say when my bill is ready to download.
And each month when I download my bill, it shows the pre-discount price (huge) and the discount, and the net price, and shows the date when the discount will end.

Are your bills different, or are you not downloading them?

I get an email showing my bill each month and it shows the extra amount that will be payable once the discounts associated with my package and my contract ends.

    You're saving £36.00 a month
    You have 2 promotional discounts
You are receiving a discount that will end on 10 September 2026
    You're receiving a œ3 discount that will end on 10 September 2026

so my package would go from £42 a month to £78, but obviously I re negotiate before my contract ends each time.

Just checked and as expected, the cost after end of minimum term is clearly shown. This is actually listing the "current" full price because they can't show the future April price increases (and is stated as such).

    I can't see what's hard about that.

Go to the app and have a look at your contract, it should all be on there
