I'm confused apologies, what is it that I want?Coupon-mad said:That's EXACTLY what you want.
Read a few Gladstones claim theads!
Also, is it still worth me contacting the owner of Ropewalk Shopping Centre to try get this cancelled as I have no idea what the alleged contravention was? Or should I contact District Enforcement and find out?And how can I defend something that goes to court if I don't know what the actual evidence or contravention was?0 -
Read some Gladstones threads first.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I have but I'm not quite finding anything to match my situation or know what I'm looking for. And yes, I have read the NEWBIES thread. I'm not sure if this is correct, but I'll just send the standard LBC template response from Newbie thread.Coupon-mad said:Read some Gladstones threads first.
However, if this goes further, I'm not sure what exactly I'm meant to do as once again, I have no idea of what the PCN is relating to, nor do I know if the signage I posted forms and actual contact unfortunately0 -
Is this response okay for the LBC? If it's where I think this is, I would have maybe been waiting around 10-15 minutes in order to pick someone up who works in a store that has rear access from this area (and also staff parking), but I didn't wait in their allocated parking area as it was full so waited further back in the loading area and didn't leave the vehicle whatsoever.
-----------------------------Dear Sirs,
Your ref: [xxxx]
Proposed legal proceedings
Claimant: [xxxxxxx]
I refer to your letter of claim.
I confirm that my address for service for the time being is as follows, and any older address must be erased from your records:
[Xxxxxxxxxxx]
You should revert to your client because the 'propensity to pay' score in my case is zero, so any claim is hopeless and a waste of the court fee (whether 'fronted' by your firm or not). Move on to weaker victims.
The alleged 'debt' is disputed and any court proceedings will be vigorously defended.
Furthermore, your correspondence fails to provide any actual timestamped photo evidence and as such, I have no idea what this claim refers to considering it was such a long time ago.
If the area 'Ropewalk Shopping Centre' referred to as 'Relevant Land' in your LBC is where I think it is, the area has extremely poor signage with no clear entrance sign, requiring the driver to have to stop and turn their head to read the sign on the side wall when driving in. Furthermore, once in the loading area which is large, there is very limited signage around in very small font.
---------------------------------
Also, please see signage photos below, taken recently:

Don't send them signage evidence.
Don't ask them for evidence or to explain where the location is.
Stop trying to help them clarify the claim!Coupon-mad said:Read some Gladstones threads first.I have but I'm not quite finding anything to match my situation or know what I'm looking for. And yes, I have read the NEWBIES thread. I'm not sure if this is correct, but I'll just send the standard LBC template response from Newbie thread.Jolly good. It's all going to plan. That's what makes a good Gladstones defence. You have missed the point!

Tell you what, just read the Chan & Akande version of defence that is linked specially for Gladstones (and other poor Particulars) claims, in the Template Defence sticky thread. You'll see...PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you Coupon! Much appreciated, I'll certainly give that a read.Coupon-mad said:Don't send them signage evidence.

But damnnn, I fudged up a bit I think. I sent the template and as per the additional guidance, added that I had no idea what the PCN refers to as it was so long ago. But I also added that I had no idea because no photos were provided:"Furthermore, your correspondence fails to provide any actual timestamped photo evidence and as such, I have no idea what this claim refers to considering it was such a long time ago."
Have I messed this all up?
I kind of needed to reply to the LBC today as it's the deadline and worried as it was getting close to midnight whilst waiting for forum guidance (of course no one's fault as everyone is busy and all help and guidance is extremely appreciated).
Thanks
