It depends what I'm buying. I will often buy out of season clothes in the January sales, either online or in the shops. Black Friday deals can be good in November but they've often been sold at inflated prices in the 3 months prior, so I always use camelcamelcamel to check the prices, or I have a plugin that does it in when using the desktop site1

I identify what I want and keep an eye open for any discounts.
For instance there is some furniture I fancy and there is occasionally a discount.
Gone are the days of waiting for the sales.I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

Me too, although it's very MSE and a bonus if essential items which I like to buy in bulk, have a nice discount applied along with cashbackborn_again said:Only buy when I need to buy. Sale or not.

I shop when necessary. Purchasing might gravitate to what discount is in place.1

I don’t really bother shopping when sales are on, I am one of those people, do I want it maybe, do it need it No.
