I did that once, their car wasnt there in the morning! I did have a parking space to one side and a pavement like bit on the other side which was tarmaced other the last bit which was planted. There was a single tyre mark across the planted area but I was highly surprised that they had managed to get out. Dont know if there was a car to the side or not at the time and there was a walkway at the front so they could have mounted that to get more swing space.born_again said:

I will buy something heavy which is within the terms of the lease to leave on my leasehold parking space. I cannot think of anything other options without needing permission from the Freeholder.0

You rent the right to park in that space. You do not own the space, so you cannot just install access restriction without the space owner's permission.
Unless the landowner has put compliant signage up to allow for legally enforceable penalty charges, there is literally nothing you can do.
Towing is illegal.
Clamping is illegal.
Obstructing their vehicle from leaving is illegal.1 -
Should not be difficult or expensive to costruct a DIY clamp - Fit and forget and play the where did that come from card - never seen it before.0

Each time they park until they stop 😉1 -
Just to play Devils advocate - are there any signs etc in the car park to indicate that the spaces are allocated for specific vehicles ?
If not then they could rightly claim ignorance.
I would be looking at how they are gaining access into a supposedly secure car park1 -
Which law would you be breaching?Mildly_Miffed said:Obstructing their vehicle from leaving is illegal.
There was a standoff at the station carpark I used to use where for reasons unknown someone(s) parked 3 cars across the back of circa 5 cars blocking them in. I know the police were called but they said there's nothing they could do which would suggest it's not illegal unless the law has changed recently.
Ultimately the cars were lifted onto a low loader a couple of days later but the bylaws of the car park allowed them to remove repeat offending vehicles.0 -
It's the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012, section 54 'Offence of immobilising etc. vehicles.'MyRealNameToo said:
