QDR - Sainsbury’s (Unpaid Fuel) Threatening Letter

If this was me (and I appreciate the OP isn't) then it would be entirely possible to not see the amount if you've paid contactless. Tap the card and go. Payment goes to credit card and at the end of the month scan the bill for any anomalies so it would be very easy to miss a difference in payment. I don't tend to check my credit card daily for transactions but do so on my bank account.Mildly_Miffed said:
So you think you DID specify the pump, but the cashier forgot to charge for the fuel, and you still didn't notice in the amount you paid...?dan_2490 said:How is it clear I didn’t say pump 4 please? I may well have said that, as I do every single time I go into that station, and as you say, they ask every time anyway, I can say with certainty I wouldn’t have said no.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.1 -
Rather than the Parking Forum because, as advised by others, it deals with PCNs from PPCs, if the OP cannot get it sorted by discussing it with Sainsbury's I would advise the FTLA:CouncilPolicePrivate0

If you did visit the petrol station, and went in and paid, but were only charged the £6, then could you charge the petrol station £66 to cover all your costs in dealing with the matter? As it was their failure (not yours) to bill for the correct amount (£31?) when you tried to pay.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 28kWh battery storage.
