Please can you give a link to the product? There seems to be a similarly named app which may cause confusion.0

Sorry, can't help you if you're unable or unwilling to provide any details of whatever it is that you're proposing to use.1

Can you share *any* details about the product other than its name, which seems to not return any matches on google other than an app (related to controlling EVs and smart home energy devices) that may or may not be from the same company (but i suspect not)?Pip_cas1 said:

Without any details, it does sound like a snake oil device similar to this:

So it cost you money (how much?), it doesn't work and it'll burn your house down.

Without even seeing details of the exact product, it's 100% certain it won't reduce electricity consumption. Unless it's so faulty it blows the main fuse.Pip_cas1 said:Hi, has anybody got any knowledge or experience of this item, (Optiwatt plug in energy saver) claiming to reduce electric bills? Thoughts please, tia2 -
Think it through logically - without any interaction from the user HOW would a simple plug in device cut your energy bills? Even the IHD that you get with your smart meter requires the user to take action for it to cut your bills - you learn from it how much things cost to run, and temper your use of them accordingly - THAT is what saves the money, not just the fact that you have a little screen with numbers on it!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
