Lebara roaming in Switzerland
Could someone confirm that the super cheap SIM only Lebara 10Gb deal definitely includes Switzerland in the free EU roaming? I thought it did, but several pages on the Lebara website say that it doesn't. The support chatbot also insists that it doesn't include it. I tried calling customer services but gave up after waiting for ages.
I have some history with this - I left Lebara for Talkmobile a few years ago because it didn't include Switzerland (I have family there...). But then I think they changed their mind and included it - maybe!
Thanks

A quick search on the Lebara site states that Switzerland is outside of their EU list of countries and is chargeable.
Take a look at Spusu as they include Switzerland in their roaming plan0 -
And a quick look in my Lebara app INCLUDES Switzerland as one of the countries listed. This is on the USwitch offer for 50GB currently on the USwitch site.
Some non-EU countries are on this list, such as Australia, Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Hong Kong, Iceland, Israel, India, Malaysia, Mexico, Mongolia, NZ, Peru, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Switzerland, Thailand, Ukraine, USA, Japan and Taiwan
Cant you get that SIM instead? Its £2.39 for the first four months and then £7.95 from then on?0 -
I can understand why the OP is confused. The Lebara UK roaming rates finder shows Switzerland as being chargeable but, as you say, it shows it as being included in their list of EU roaming countries in their SIM only monthly plans, even the 5GB.la531983 said:And a quick look in my Lebara app INCLUDES Switzerland as one of the countries listed. I've found a few discrepancies on their site which is a bit worrying.0 -
Switzerland along with many other countries is included in the free international calls from the UK but is not included for roaming.0

Ah yes you are right thats the minutes list. My bad. I assume the roaming is solely EU only (maybe with Iceland and one or two extras),0

I forgot to mention that a friend of mine is on Lebara and recently visited Switzerland with no additional roaming charges.
I just wondered if the super-cheap deals were different.0
