Missed appeal deadline for Heathrow T2 drop off APCOA parking charge

Forgot to pay the drop off charge in early August and received the notice promptly from APCOA a week later. Then received a debt collection letter from Debt Recovery plus and didn't pay that either (by early November).

I have read the newbies thread post 4 and it says to just ignore. If it were mine i would, but it's in my parent's name (and they were the driver) so i don't think they'd want to see constant debt recovery letters being posted. Is the only option left to avoid paying the fine is to ignore? Can i not try dispute somehow?

Thank you

No dispute, just IGNORE the powerless debt collectors letters,  nothing will happen

Shred them and use in the hamster cage

I get junk mail every day,  so I feed them into my blue recycling bin,  no biggie

Thanks, Will they eventually just give up? Or will they continue to send it for years?

Depends on if its a PCN or a PN

Either way,  it's irrelevant,  Apcoa don't do court,  especially not for airport cases

Even if you have to feed the recycling bin for years, who cares  ?  You still have to throw away junk mail or out of date mail regularly anyway , I have been recycling for decades and just fed mine an hour ago after the postman came

There is a petition to ban drop off fees at airports,  have you signed it  ?  I have

    They'll give up.

Why haven't you just gone online as the keeper and changed his/her address for service to yours? Then you get the letters and ignore them, telling your parents they'll hear no more.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I live with them haha. But thank you both i will just ignore them. Hopefully it won't be for long. We actually received 2 PCNs from the same drop off (departure and arrivals) and they've given up on the first already it seems (no letters beyond the intial PCN).

The first 6 to 12 months could be the most mither, but ignoring debt collectors letters is a simple task,  my 4 year old granddaughter could easily do so, she was shredding my junk mail last week

They haven't given up. Silly letters will arrive for months.

  • HRecently recieved this letter. Looks like a scare tactic but threatening a CCJ - is this normal? Could they go with the CCJ?

Study post 4 in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum by coupon mad

Ignore the powerless debt collectors letters,  especially from DRP

there is zero chance of DRP doing anything at all,  they lied. !

Nobody can threaten a CCJ, only a possible court claim
