Downsides - it is not flexible and you cannot do a direct ISA transfer. An indirect transfer can be achieved by first transferring to a HL Stocks
and Shares ISA and then onto the cash ISA. Would there be any costs associated with this process? There would be a HL S&S ISA with zero balance after transferring to an HL cash ISA. Is that ok? But the rate is excellent although variable. It is a tempting offer.0 -
There is a conversation on the "Best cash ISA`s" thread. It seems you need to deposit minimum £1 in the HL cash ISA. That seems to rule me out because I have used up this years £20k ISA allowance?0

Do you have any flexible Isas into which you've made a deposit this year? If so, withdraw a pound from one of those and deposit it in the HL cash Isa.where_are_we said:There is a conversation on the "Best cash ISA`s" thread.
