HMCTS Letter - Fake or Real?

Hi There
My Daughter has received a letter apparently from the HMCTS but there is no PoC on it and it doesn't look very cosha. Could somebody help or advise as to it's legitimacy or can it be ignored. She has been chased for an alleged parking offence with many letters over the course of the last 2 years which she had ignored up to this letter. Any help or advice would be really appreciated 👍

Then she has shot herself in the foot by ignoring a court claimcueball1966 said:She's ignored all letters that have come previously4 -
You could phone the Civil Business Centre with the claim reference from the top right (probably should have obscured it from the photo) and check its legitimate.
They've listed the correct telephone number for them, which would be a bit foolish for someone sending out fake documents.

It ia genuine5 -
As above, it's genuine, it's a default CCJ due to not replying to the N1SDT claim form pack they sent last month or thereabouts
Pay it this month, in full, to avoid a CCJ giving credit file issues
Never ignore a claim form3 -
there is a train of thought that they may be open to negotiation on the balance payable. DCB Legal certainly are but i have no knowledge if BW Legal are (and the CCJ still removed in full)Gr1pr said:As above, it's genuine, it's a default CCJ due to not replying to the N1SDT claim form pack they sent last month or thereabouts

Thanks, I now remember you mentioning it in a DCB Legal thread recently, probably worth the defendant trying to negotiate with B W Legal for a lower settlement figure, but they may want full paymentChirpyChicken said:
