With an issue date of 05/11/25 and having completed the AoS in a timely manner your defence deadline date is 4.00 p.m. on 08/12/253

Update, I'm due submit my defence today- have been trying all weekend the claim has vanished from the portal. Managed to call the helpline and get through this morning and advice is to submit by email (claimresponses.cnbc@justice.gov.uk) as portal “sometimes doesn't work”, I'm to expect a bounce back email as confirmation the response has been received by the courts… I have the defence completed from the template in newbies page -so will submit shortly.1

But only once you've added a statement of truth and signature & date and saved it as a PDF, like this one:KindRegards101 said:Update, I'm due submit my defence today- have been trying all weekend the claim has vanished from the portal. You can copy all the Beavis quotes from that one, if you want. It is clear that the £85 PCN was already way in excess of covering all the pre-action letter-chain costs arising from a breach. Letters are the usual business model of any ANPR firm. In Beavis the £85 had a legitimate interest but £170 is double that.
You can add or use any of that defence if you want. As a PDF by email you are not restricted to a word count.
It certainly doesn't go into the body of an email. Must be a signed & dated PDF documentPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks, didn't see this until now. I did my defence on a pdf and included a dated statement of truth within the pdf.2
